I have been a runner since the age of 8. I love running, I love everything about running! Last Jan.(2009) while training for my annual ½ marathon, I hurt by back so badly that I couldn’t even stand up! I found out that it wasn’t my back that was hurting , but it was my hamstrings and glutes that were so tight that it made my back spasm. I never tried Yoga because I didn’t think that I could get a good sweat from it! Boy was I wrong!! Since I have started Yoga in Feb. 09, I have NEVER felt better in my life! I know I have become so much stronger and leaner! I crave Yoga now! And yes, you do sweat!! I still like the occasional run, but yoga is something that I can do for the rest of my life…running you can’t!
